Addressing a function in Lahore, Shafqat Mehmood said that we have taken several steps in the situation of Corona and the Ministry of Education wants the educational institutions to remain open as there is a difference between teaching in educational institutions and online education. Not in the classroom.

He said that closing of schools is a very difficult decision and in this regard there is another meeting on March 24 in which we will review whether educational institutions are to be reopened or not.

Shafqat Mehmood said that the health department puts pressure but still does not close educational institutions, at present the situation is bad due to corona and NCOC believes that there is a high risk of corona in schools, 50 million children are connected to education, then no infection. Will spread

"We have tried to keep schools open where there is no problem. The ministers of education and the ministers of health will make recommendations on educational institutions and we will act on them," he said.
